moon signs

The week following the full moon is still terrific for outreach – anything from job applications to gardening (planting is best on the weekend). Though the moon is waning, it's not yet on the Slim-Fast diet – that comes after the last quarter on July 2. This week begins with a kick-back vibe except for those of you born April 10-14, Jan. 10-15, and Oct. 13-17. You might be on this track: stirred up, exhausted, agitated, self-conscious. July 12-16 crabs are facing huge life change this week: don shades or squint a lot.

Wednesday, June 26 Waning moon in Capricorn-Aquarius. An all-day void-of-course ensures that matters you thought were settled need tweaking again. Capricorns, share your more outrageous notions (yes, you do have them!). Aquarians, the next three days will find you willing to do anything – but commit. Get help from fire-sign folks. Scorpios may want to play both ends against the middle – those you depend on may need a break. VOC midnight to 3 p.m.

Thursday, June 27 Waning moon in Aquarius. All the space cowboys say giddyap – those of us more, uh, earthbound souls can only watch and wonder. Aquarians, are you hungry for love? (Oh, just hungry? Still, please let others find you captivating.) Today and tomorrow, here's the Scorpio dance: intense, detached, intense. Geminis (especially June 10-12), the universe is cruel, but you are amusing. There's solace in that.

Friday, June 28 Waning moon in Aquarius. Not a good day for starting projects that need to be finished promptly, but great for meetings that ramble. Aquarians, the moon's on your side, so that means you get the following ticket punched: "Good friend who'll listen to me howl." Taureans, ask for or expect treats this weekend – shyness gets you nowhere. But Virgos, you need to be easy on yourself in coming days. Vulnerability looms.

Saturday, June 29 Waning moon in Pisces. Excellent for weeding and for planting stuff that grows like a weed – you know how pushy zucchini can be. Good weekend for weddings, but only for folks who've been around the block together. Pisces, cling to fire-sign people. Don't shirk from exercise (especially March 10-13, who could increase miles, reps, or weight). Sagittarians, last week was sweet for love, ditto next week, but not this weekend. Don't lose perspective on tiny frustrations d'amour. Cancers, this week's decisions are huge and important. Don't second-guess yourself.

Sunday, June 30 Waning moon in Pisces. Again, folklore says canning or brewing is the right activity for this phase. Pisces may want to put "trouble" after that second verb. Is that too oblique? Try this: you're in a mood for risk and oblivion. Scorpios, diets aren't for you right now – neither is fatty food. Capricorns, are you the only ones who are keeping it together in your inner circles? Here's an attaboy for you. VOC 10 p.m. until noon tomorrow.

Monday, July 1 Waning moon in Pisces-Aries. The moon is void until 3 p.m., so figure it's the wheel-spinning derby, although hie to the studio, all abstract expressionist artists. Pisces, concentration won't be easy, and it's small things that will set you off. Aries, find the spotlight (or do the sales pitch over and over). Romance for Leos looks increasingly warmish. VOC until noon.

Tuesday, July 2 Last quarter moon in Aries. We're at a turning point for events that climaxed in late June but began just before Father's Day. Aries, don't hesitate to grab, blurt, and fling (except for April 10-14 rams, who will find that circumstances are beyond their control and must ask for help). Libras, it's "that time" of the month – a time when you can't quite charm yourself. Alas.
